Cloudy Weather with Some Showers This Friday
Clouds linked to a zone of instability are approaching from the northeast and will gradually influence local weather. Cloudy periods with showers are expected this morning. In the afternoon, these showers may be of moderate intensity with isolated thunderstorms, particularly over the western half of the island and the Central Plateau. Pockets of fog are also anticipated in some areas. After localized showers in the evening over the Central Plateau and the West, the sky will gradually clear during the night.
Winds will be light and variable this morning, shifting to northeast at around 20 km/h during the day, with gusts of up to 50 km/h during showers. The sea will be rough beyond the reefs with swells from the south measuring about 2 meters.
The public is advised to stay indoors and avoid plains, hiking, sea outings, and not to shelter under trees during thunderstorms. Caution is advised on the roads due to reduced visibility from showers and fog.
The maximum temperature will range from 24 to 26 degrees Celsius on the Central Plateau and from 29 to 31 degrees Celsius in coastal areas. The minimum temperature will be between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius on the Central Plateau and between 23 and 25 degrees Celsius along the coast.
