Allegations of Abuse at Twaha Academy: Video Recorder Seized, Two Witnesses Interviewed

As part of the investigation into allegations of abuse against Mufti Azhar Peerbocus, the former director of Twaha Academy, police have seized the digital video recorder from the institution. This equipment has been handed over to the IT Unit for examination.

Additionally, a former teacher and a former cook from the academy were interviewed as witnesses on Thursday, April 16.

Mufti Azhar Peerbocus, who is facing multiple complaints from students, is currently in South Africa. An "Arrest Upon Arrival" notice has been issued against him.
