Allegations of Abuse at Twaha Academy: Maulana Hussein Luckheea Appears at CCID

Maulana Hussein Luckheea, the head of Twaha Academy, appeared at the Central Criminal Investigation Department (CCID) on Friday, April 17. His summons is part of an investigation into allegations of abuse against Mufti Azhar Peerbocus, the former principal of the Eastern institution, towards students.

After leaving the Central Barracks, Maulana Hussein Luckheea was expected to return in the afternoon for further proceedings.

It is worth noting that Azhar Peerbocus is still abroad since his departure for South Africa on April 1. An 'Arrest Upon Arrival' notice has been issued against him.
