Animal Abuse and Illegal Dog Breeding: Police and MSAW Raid in Sorèze

Following a complaint filed in Sorèze, Pailles, regarding the abuse of dogs and illegal breeding, a team intervened this morning with the support of the police. The individual involved is well-known to the Mauritius Society for Animal Welfare (MSAW). They are alleged to have violated the Animal Welfare Act (AWA) once again, specifically articles 31 and 3.

According to Tinagaren Govindasami from MSAW, fourteen dogs were seized, three of which are classified as dangerous under the AWA.
