Alleged Mistreatment: MSAW Seizes 14 Dogs
The Mauritius Society for Animal Welfare (MSAW) acted this Monday morning, in collaboration with law enforcement, after reports of alleged animal mistreatment and an unauthorized breeding operation. The individual in question, already known to the relevant authorities, is reportedly in violation of the Animal Welfare Act, specifically Articles 31 and 3. During this operation, 14 dogs were seized, three of which are deemed potentially dangerous. An investigation is currently underway.
