Paul Bérenger Calls on Mauritians to Join a New Political Movement

On Wednesday, April 22, former Deputy Prime Minister and ex-leader of the MMM, Paul Bérenger, addressed the Mauritian public through a letter published on his Facebook page. He stated, "We left the current government, along with the MMM, primarily due to serious violations and shortcomings regarding the main issues in our struggle since 1969." He is calling on all those who wish to "continue or deepen the militant fight" to join his emerging political movement.
