Showers Expected in Several Regions of the Island This Monday

Clouds from the east will influence the weather in Mauritius this Monday, April 27, according to the meteorological station.

Overcast periods accompanied by showers are expected mainly over the eastern half of the island and the central plateau. These rains could be moderate at times.

Maximum temperatures will range from 25 to 27 °C in higher areas and between 29 and 31 °C along coastal regions.

The wind will blow from the east at about 20 km/h, with gusts reaching up to 50 km/h.

The sea will remain rough beyond the reefs, with swells from the southwest of 2.5 meters. Outings to the open sea and in the lagoons of the west and south are discouraged, although a gradual improvement is expected throughout the day.
