Death of former minister Abu Kasenally: 'A man of great intelligence and deeply human,' says Minister Mahomed

"A man of great intelligence and deeply human" - this is how Osman Mahomed remembers Abu Kasenally. The Minister of Transport wanted to pay tribute to the former minister, who passed away on Monday, April 27th.

Osman Mahomed stated that he had the opportunity to collaborate with the former minister twice during his career. The first time was in 2008 when he was serving as the officer in charge of the Housing Unit, and again in 2010 when he was the Managing Director of the NHDC.

It is important to note that former minister Dr. Abu Kasenally passed away this morning after a long illness. He was 84 years old. His funeral will take place this afternoon at 3 PM. His body will leave his residence in Clairfonds, Vacoas, to proceed to the Riche-Terre cemetery.
