Death of Ras Natty Baby: Government Takes Action for the Repatriation of His Remains
The procedures for the repatriation of the body of singer Ras Natty Baby will commence tomorrow with the relevant authorities. This announcement was made by Health Minister Anil Bachoo during a press conference on Monday afternoon.
The ministry will coordinate with the proper authorities to ensure that the repatriation occurs as swiftly as possible, the minister emphasized. He hopes that the procedures can be completed by tomorrow.
Anil Bachoo did, however, specify that there is only one flight from Delhi to Mauritius, which is typically scheduled for Thursdays.
Ras Natty Baby, whose real name was Joseph Nicolas Emilien, passed away yesterday in India at the age of 72. He had traveled to the Indian subcontinent on April 8 for medical treatment.
