Véronique Leu-Govind: 'The State Will Cover the Costs of Rapatriating Singer Ras Natty Baby's Body'
The costs for repatriating the body of singer Ras Natty Baby will be fully covered by the State. This announcement was made on RadioPlus on Monday afternoon, April 27, by Junior Minister at the Ministry of Arts and Culture, Véronique Leu-Govind.
Ras Natty Baby, whose real name was Joseph Nicolas Emilien, passed away in India yesterday at the age of 72. He had traveled to the Indian subcontinent on April 8 for medical treatment. Procedures have been initiated to ensure that the repatriation occurs as soon as possible.
