FCC Auction: 23 Vehicles Sold for 4.7 Million Rupees on Tuesday
On Tuesday, April 28, twenty-four vehicles were put up for sale during the second day of the Financial Crimes Commission's auction. Twenty-three of these vehicles were sold — one buyer withdrew during the process — for a total amount of 4.7 million rupees. Many of these vehicles originated from seizures carried out by the police force and have been in storage for several years.
The auction proceeded in an organized manner, with strong participation from bidders despite inclement weather, as stated by the FCC on its Facebook page. Wednesday is dedicated to the delivery of the vehicles and administrative procedures.
On Thursday, April 30, the final day of the event, boats, motorcycles, and construction equipment will be auctioned. During the first day of the sale, 24 out of 25 vehicles offered were sold for a total of around 17 million rupees.
