FCC Auction: 23 Vehicles Sold for 4.7 Million Rupees on Tuesday

On Tuesday, April 28, twenty-four vehicles were put up for auction during the second day of the Financial Crimes Commission sale. Twenty-three were sold — one buyer withdrew during the bidding process — for a total of 4.7 million rupees. Several of these vehicles were seized by the police and have been in custody for several years. The proceedings were well-organized, with strong participation from bidders, despite inclement weather, as noted by the FCC on its Facebook page. Wednesday is dedicated to the delivery of the vehicles and administrative procedures. On Thursday, April 30, the last day of the auction, boats, motorcycles, and construction equipment will be sold. During the first day of the sale, 24 out of 25 vehicles offered were sold, totaling approximately 17 million rupees.
