Seized Goods by the FCC – After Four Days of Sale: Rs 33.4 Million Raised
The Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) raised Rs 33.4 million from its first auction of seized goods, held from April 27 to 30. The operation resulted in the sale of 48 cars, 7 boats, 7 motorcycles, and various other items.
The sales, conducted "as is" by an independent auctioneer, took place at the FCC's headquarters in Réduit Triangle and at the port for one of the boats.
The event attracted numerous buyers and spanned four days.
According to the FCC, part of the funds will be reinvested in national development projects, in accordance with legal provisions.
The institution expressed satisfaction with the execution of the auction and announced the continuation of seizures of assets derived from the "proceeds of crime."
