No warning for strong swells is currently in effect in Mauritius. Recent observations indicate that the energetic swells affecting the sea conditions around the island are gradually subsiding. However, the open sea will remain rough, with waves reaching approximately three and a half meters (3.50 m). Activities in the open sea, as well as in the lagoons of the West and South, are not recommended.This is according to the bulletin issued by the meteorological station this Saturday morning.Clouds coming from the southeast will occasionally influence the local weather.Forecast for the next twenty-four (24) hours:Partly cloudy weather, becoming occasionally overcast in the morning and during the afternoon, with intermittent rain, especially in the East, South, and on the central plateau.The maximum temperature will range between twenty-two and twenty-five degrees Celsius (22 to 25 °C) on the central plateau, and between twenty-seven and twenty-nine degrees Celsius (27 to 29 °C) on coastal areas.The sky will generally be partly cloudy during the night, with light rain in the highlands.The minimum temperature will fluctuate between nineteen and twenty-one degrees Celsius (19 to 21 °C) on the central plateau, and between twenty-three and twenty-five degrees Celsius (23 to 25 °C) on the coast.The wind will blow from the southeast at approximately twenty kilometers per hour (20 km/h), with gusts reaching up to fifty kilometers per hour (50 km/h).
