Flacq: 3.6 kg of Cannabis Seized, 46-Year-Old Man Arrested

A police operation carried out by officers from the ADSU in the Flacq region led to the seizure of over 3.6 kg of cannabis and the arrest of a 46-year-old man. The search, conducted on May 20 with the support of MARCOS and the SSU, took place at the suspect's home in his absence and with his 63-year-old mother present.

Police discovered a packet containing cannabis as well as a bag with 12 packets, each holding a significant amount of drugs. In total, over 3.608 kg of cannabis was confiscated. The suspect, a driver living in the area, later presented himself at the ADSU office in Flacq where he was arrested. His mother was allowed to leave after being questioned.
