Murder of Nawsheen Chady: Her Husband Participates in a Reconstruction of Events

Following the tragic domestic incident that occurred last Thursday in Saint-Pierre, Sfwaan Chady, the main suspect, was taken to the scene of the crime this Monday morning for a police reconstruction of the events.

The man detailed how he fatally attacked his wife, Nawsheen Chady, aged 37. The exercise, which involved several units of the police force, lasted approximately half an hour.

At the conclusion of the reconstruction, Sfwaan Chady was returned to police custody.

It is important to note that Nawsheen Chady was beaten to death last Thursday by her husband in their family yard in Saint-Pierre.

Sfwaan Chady, described as a drug addict, violently attacked his wife by initially striking her with a metal bar and then with a piece of metal tubing while she was already on the ground. After his arrest, the suspect denied the allegations before eventually confessing.
