Murder of Nawsheen Chady: Safwaan Chady's Hearing at Central Barracks

Safwaan Chady is currently being questioned by officers from the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of Moka at the Central Barracks. This interrogation is taking place in a room equipped with video cameras using the "Digital Interview Recording System."
Safwaan Chady has been asked to explain the circumstances that led to the fatal attack on his wife, during which he struck the victim violently with three iron bars.
On the morning of Monday, July 14th, he participated in the reenactment of the various stages of his wife Nawsheen Chady's murder in Circonstances, Saint-Pierre.
This vegetable vendor married Nawsheen fourteen years ago, and from this union, they have a 12-year-old son and an 11-year-old daughter. Safwaan Chady is facing a provisional charge of murder. This tragedy, which has shaken the entire country, occurred in the family's yard in Circonstance, Saint-Pierre, on Thursday, July 10th.
