A moderate wind is blowing across our region. Clouds associated with an instability line coming from the east are influencing local weather.

The weather will be quite cloudy this morning and afternoon, with showers mainly affecting the eastern half of the island and the central plateau, as indicated by the meteorological station in its bulletin issued on December 24. These showers will temporarily be of moderate intensity.

The maximum temperature will range between 24 and 27 degrees Celsius in higher areas and between 29 and 32 degrees Celsius in coastal regions.

Showers will become less frequent in the evening and during the night.

The minimum temperature will be between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius on the central plateau and between 23 and 25 degrees Celsius on the coast.

The wind will blow from the east at about 20 km/h, temporarily strengthening with gusts during the showers.

The sea will be rough beyond the reefs, with swells from the southwest measuring around 2.5 meters. Outings at sea, as well as in the lagoons of the west and south, are not recommended.

However, the state of the sea in the lagoons will gradually improve in the afternoon.
