Muzaffar Lallmamode Released After Court Appearance

The Week-End Court ordered on Sunday that Muzaffar Lallmamode, known as "Muz", be released immediately, stating that the police's objections were unfounded.

After filing a defamation complaint on social media, Muzaffar Lallmamode himself was arrested by the police in connection with a case of verbal threats.

A controversial figure on social media in recent days, this event organizer and call center manager was detained by police on Saturday.

He had gone to the Vallée-des-Prêtres police station to file a complaint for "Breach of ICTA", claiming to be the target of serious allegations spread on Facebook. According to his statement, several posts associated him with synthetic drug trafficking and money laundering.

However, after filing his complaint, the police informed him that he was also the subject of a complaint for verbal threats. This complaint dates back to December 13 and was filed by his former business partner.

According to the latter, Muzaffar Lallmamode had visited his business in Plaine-Verte. He allegedly unplugged the CCTV camera installed in the reception area before making threats.

Upon leaving the court, Muzaffar Lallmamode stated that "the truth will prevail".
