‘Reward Money’ Case: Images of SP Jagai's Arrival at Coromandel Police Station Where He is Detained

In the ‘Reward Money’ case, images show the arrival of Superintendent Ashik Jagai at the Coromandel police station, where he will spend the night in custody. Jagai was arrested on Wednesday evening after being questioned by the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) regarding the ‘Reward Money’ case.

According to his lawyer, Me Raouf Gulbul, Jagai was confronted with documents before being placed under arrest. He is accused by the FCC of recommending several irregular payments from a fund intended for police informants. Jagai is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow, Thursday, August 14, for a preliminary charge. Afterward, he is expected to be taken back to Réduit Triangle for further questioning, as stated by his lawyer.
