Mamy Ravatomanga Case: Lawyer Junaid Fakim Appears in Court

Lawyer Junaid Fakim, former commissioner of the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC), is currently in the judicial spotlight. The 41-year-old attorney appeared yesterday in the Rose-Hill court, facing two serious charges: public official using office for gratification under section 22(1) and breach of confidentiality under section 161(6), during his time at the FCC. According to the investigation, Mr. Fakim allegedly shared confidential information with the Malagasy billionaire Mamy Ravatomang.
