Alleged Toxic Loans: Former PM Pravind Jugnauth Supports Sanjiv Ramdanee

Former Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth and former Finance Minister Renganaden Padayachy appeared before the Intermediate Court in Port-Louis to support Sanjiv Ramdanee. Ramdanee was arrested on the evening of Tuesday, December 2, by the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) under Section 48 of the FCC Act. The FCC accuses him of conspiracy related to a toxic loan of Rs 470 million from Dhyanavartam Ltd (formerly known as Mauriplage Beach Resort Ltd).
