Rodrigues: Franceau Grandcourt and Nicolas Volbert Summoned 'Under Warning' to the FCC

In Rodrigues, Chief Commissioner Franceau Grandcourt and Health Commissioner Nicolas Volbert were summoned 'under warning' to the offices of the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) on Monday, December 22. This summons follows a complaint filed regarding a project related to the construction of Track Roads.

Franceau Grandcourt and Nicolas Volbert will need to explain their respective roles in the implementation of this project.

On the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day, a team from the Financial Crimes Commission recently visited Rodrigues to conduct awareness campaigns and special sessions with public officials and leaders. Taking advantage of their presence, the FCC officers carried out a thorough examination of the case related to the Track Roads project.

At this stage, the case is in the hands of investigators based in Rodrigues, who are continuing their inquiries.
