[Video] Alleged Police Brutality in St-Pierre: An Alliance of Change Candidate Hospitalized

Bhageeruth Mdhin, a candidate from the Alliance of Change, claims he was assaulted by a police officer. A complaint regarding police brutality has been filed.

According to his statements, the officer, driving a vehicle at high speed, was confronted by Bhageeruth Mdhin, who expressed his discontent. The incident allegedly occurred on Sunday in St-Pierre, near a traffic light.

Bhageeruth Mdhin is currently hospitalized and is requesting that the Safe City camera footage be reviewed to clarify the details of this incident.

On the other hand, the police have confirmed that a complaint has been registered. The concerned officer has also filed a complaint, citing charges of contempt and dangerous driving.
