Weather: Heavy Rain Warning for Mauritius

A heavy rain warning has been in effect in Mauritius since 2 PM on Saturday, March 28, and will remain valid until 8 PM. The warm, humid, and unstable atmospheric conditions are conducive to the formation of thunderstorm clouds over the island. Heavy showers accompanied by thunderstorms are currently being observed in the central plateau and may gradually spread to other areas. These stormy rain phenomena could persist until the evening.
