Alleged Fraud of Rs 14 Million: Police Interrogation Continues at the FCC

A 35-year-old constable was arrested this Thursday and is currently being questioned by investigators from the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) as part of an alleged fraud case. He is suspected of embezzling over Rs 14 million by posing as a licensed agent in transactions involving imported vehicles sold at supposedly advantageous prices.

According to initial reports, the incidents occurred between September 2024 and December 2025 in Port-Louis.

His interrogation is ongoing.
