Alleged Fraud of Rs 14 Million: Police Interrogation Continues at the FCC

A 35-year-old constable was apprehended this Thursday and is currently being interrogated by investigators from the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) regarding an alleged fraud case. He is suspected of having embezzled over Rs 14 million by posing as a licensed agent in transactions involving imported vehicles at supposedly advantageous prices.

According to initial reports, the events took place between September 2024 and December 2025 in Port-Louis.

His interrogation is ongoing.
