Politics: MMM Central Committee: Wave of Dismissals within the Party

The leaders of the Mauritian Militant Movement (MMM) announced a series of dismissals following a meeting of the Central Committee held on Saturday, April 18. Fourteen municipal councilors — including several elected during the last municipal elections — have been expelled from the party's ranks. Out of the 80 members of the Central Committee, 16 were dismissed, while 12 resignations were recorded. Five members of the Political Bureau were also dismissed.
