Ivan Collendavelloo's Tribute to Eddy Boissezon

Ivan Collendavelloo, a long-time friend of Eddy Boissezon, paid a final tribute during the funeral mass held at La Visitation Church in Vacoas on Monday, November 3rd.

His heartfelt testimony honored the memory of a "man with a big heart." He recalled the day when the former vice-president of the Republic informed him of his illness.

"Ivan, there’s no need to worry, cancer doesn’t know what it’s up against, I’m not afraid of it," Eddy Boissezon had declared, determined to face his final battle against the disease.

Eddy Boissezon, who also served as the Minister of Public Service and was a prominent figure in the Muvman Liberater (ML), passed away on Saturday, November 1st, at the age of 73.

He was granted a state funeral.
