Melrose Prison: Assault on Inmate Andy Selmour Captured by Cameras

Inmate Andy Selmour died following incidents that occurred on Tuesday evening at Melrose Prison. The CID of Montagne-Blanche has launched an investigation and has already requisitioned surveillance footage.

An autopsy will be conducted this Wednesday. Andy Selmour, aged 33, was arrested after a robbery at the Roche-Bois gas station on March 2, 2019. He had been serving a sentence since February 12, 2025, and was expected to be released in August 2027.

According to initial information gathered by the CID, the CCTV footage shows the assault on Andy Selmour by another inmate.
