Fatal Assault on Inmate Andy Selmour: Autopsy Postponed, Mother Abroad Wishes to Attend

The autopsy of inmate Andy Selmour, aged 33, who died on Tuesday evening following an altercation at Melrose prison, has been postponed to a later date. His mother, currently abroad, has expressed her desire to be present for the post-mortem examination. She has informed the police that she plans to return to Mauritius as soon as possible.

Since Tuesday evening, following the inmate's death, Andy Selmour's body has been at the morgue of Dr. A.G. Jeetoo Hospital in Port-Louis.
