Parliamentary Resumption: Three Notable Absences from the MMM
The resumption of parliamentary sessions this Tuesday was marked by the absence of Deputy Prime Minister Paul Bérenger, who hinted at a potential resignation.
Although the MMM leader was not present in the National Assembly, he did not issue any instructions to his deputies, instead encouraging each to take responsibility. Out of the 18 elected representatives from the party, three were absent: Paul Bérenger, Joanna Bérenger, and Chetan Baboolall.
Reza Uteem and Veda Balamoody are currently abroad.
