Homemade Bread: Price May Increase to Rs 3.90 Starting Midnight

The price of homemade bread may see an increase, reaching nearly Rs 3.90 starting at midnight. This rate, currently the most discussed, was brought up during the Cabinet meeting this Friday. However, official deliberations will need to take place for confirmation.

It is worth noting that homemade bread is currently sold at Rs 2.60.

The Association of Bakery Owners had requested a price revision, citing rising operational costs, particularly the increase in diesel prices that took effect on March 24. Bakers initially proposed a price of Rs 4.78 for homemade bread.
