Bread Price Rises by Rs 1.30

The Council of Ministers has approved the revision of the controlled bread price, which will increase from Rs 2.60 to Rs 3.90. A rise of Rs 1.30 per 100 grams will be granted to bakers to cover the increased operating costs and ensure the viability of the sector, with no further increases expected in the short to medium term.
