Mamy Ravatomanga Requests Dismissal of Provisional Charges Against Him

Mamy Ravatomanga is requesting the dismissal of provisional charges against him.

Arrested on October 24, 2025, businessman Maminiaina Ravatomanga, known as Mamy Ravatomanga, was charged on Thursday, November 6, 2025, with provisional charges of conspiracy and two charges of money laundering at the Port-Louis court.

One of his lawyers, Me Siddhartha Hawoldar, has requested that the provisional charges against his client be dismissed due to procedural abuse, illegal arrest, and lack of reasonable suspicion.

The Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) opposed his request for bail on the grounds of a risk of evidence tampering, witness interference, and flight risk.
