Parliament: Paul Bérenger Discusses Coordination Meeting with Joanna Bérenger and Chetan Baboolall to Clarify Their Presence in the Chamber

MMM leader Paul Bérenger has informed the Speaker that he, Chetan Baboolall, and Joanna Bérenger are likely not to attend Parliament tomorrow.

This situation arises after opposition whip Adrien Duval sent a letter to the Speaker, Shirin Aumeeruddy-Cziffra, raising concerns about a breach of parliamentary principles. He believes these MPs should not sit on the opposition benches while retaining their status within their party.

In response to Radio Plus, Paul Bérenger stated that he has spoken with the Speaker. A coordination meeting is scheduled among him, Joanna Bérenger, and Chetan Baboolall, who have opted not to remain in the government.
