Mare-Chicose: 15 Trucks Block Access to Waste Disposal Site

Operations at the Mare-Chicose waste disposal site have been disrupted since Friday morning, April 17. The issue stems from a dispute between the operator Sotravic/Strata and truck drivers contracted to transport leachate to treatment centers. The drivers are protesting unpaid wages, with some claiming they haven't been paid for seven months, along with tensions regarding the organization of their operations. As a result, 15 trucks have blocked access to the site.
