FCC: Jagai's Son Interrogated, Sedan and 4x4 Seized

Allysaheb Ashik Ameersaheb Jagai, 25, is currently being questioned by the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC). He manages the family businesses Nabsha Uclean Trading Ltd, EA Smart Choice Business Enterprise Ltd, and two other companies. He is being interrogated at Réduit Triangle regarding the financing sources of a sedan, a 4x4 vehicle registered JA 941, and a Suzuki Swift. These vehicles were seized this Tuesday morning for investigation by the FCC.

Allysaheb Ashik Ameer Jagai, son of Superintendent of Police (SP) Jagai, was picked up at Vallée-des-Prêtres by FCC investigators this morning.

This arrest is part of an FCC investigation into alleged money laundering.

For reference, his father, Ashik Jagai, has been in custody since Wednesday, August 13, in connection with the Reward Money case.

He is suspected of recommending two questionable Reward Money payments totaling Rs 24 million, of which Rs 17 million is linked to a single case.
