Murder of Yogeshwaree Bhunjun: Three Suspects in Pamplemousses Court
The three suspects arrested in connection with the murder of Yogeshwaree Bhunjun appeared this Monday morning before the Pamplemousses Court. They face a provisional charge of murder.
The suspects are Fadil Hossen Dulloo, a 41-year-old nursing officer living in Dagotière, and Mahmad Imteaz Peeroo and Khalif Ul Ahmad Raffique, both 46 years old and residing in Camp-Fouquereaux.
They are suspected of having acted in complicity with the victim's partner, Dr. Arvind Ramchurn, who denies any involvement in the case.
According to the investigation, the victim's body was reportedly transported to Case-Noyale beach before being thrown into the sea, tied to a rock.
After the hearing, the suspects were returned to police custody.
Searches continue to locate the victim's body.
