A heavy rain warning is in effect in Mauritius until Saturday morning

The Vacoas Weather Station has issued a heavy rain warning for Mauritius on Friday, April 3rd at 2 PM. This warning will be valid until tomorrow, Saturday, April 4th at 4:30 AM. Active clouds associated with a frontal system coming from the west are influencing local weather conditions.

Heavy showers accompanied by thunderstorms are being observed in the west and will gradually spread to other areas. Temporary water accumulation is expected in flood-prone zones. Visibility will be reduced due to fog and rain in certain regions.
