Rajesh Bagwan: 'The Political Bureau will meet later, and we will communicate regarding these resignations'

Rajesh Bagwan, the General Secretary of the MMM party, confirmed that he has received resignation letters from Paul Bérenger, the former leader of the Mauves, as well as from Joanna Bérenger and Chetan Baboolall.

When contacted by ION News for a comment, Rajesh Bagwan explained that the party's Political Bureau will convene this afternoon at the Port-Louis municipality, and any communication regarding these three resignations will take place after this meeting.

According to our sources among several Mauve ministers, the issue of leadership will indeed be discussed, since the MMM officially has no leader following Paul Bérenger's voluntary withdrawal.
