Politics: Paul Bérenger Will Not Resign Awaiting the MMM BP Meeting This Monday
Paul Bérenger will not resign from his position as Deputy Prime Minister at this time, although he indicates that he supports the idea of the MMM leaving the government.
"I have noted that a significant majority of the members want the MMM to remain in the government. Personally, I would prefer for us to leave the government. The Political Bureau of the MMM will meet again this Monday. Until then, we will see how the situation develops," Paul Bérenger stated after a special central committee of the MMM, held this afternoon at Hennessy Park in Ébène.
