Parliament – Change of Sides: Paul Bérenger, Joanna Bérenger, and Chetan Baboolall on the Opposition Side
On Tuesday, April 14, a new configuration emerged in the National Assembly as three resigning members of the Mauritian Militant Movement (MMM)—Paul Bérenger, Joanna Bérenger, and Chetan Baboolall—now sit on the opposition benches. Paul Bérenger is positioned behind the opposition Whip, Adrien Duval, while Chetan Baboolall takes a seat behind the opposition leader, Joe Lesjongard. Joanna Bérenger has settled to the right of her father.
