Joanna Bérenger: "I will never accept inheritance..."
When questioned about a potential succession within the MMM party, Joanna Bérenger firmly dismissed this notion. She stated that the party does not operate on a dynastic logic: "Dynasty has no place within the MMM. I will never accept inheritance, nor will I facilitate it." She further added, "I have neither the desire nor the ambition," thus dismissing any intention of taking on a leadership role within the party or as the leader of the opposition.
Present alongside her, MMM leader Paul Bérenger supported her statements. He reiterated that the MMM has never functioned on the principle of family succession, emphasizing that roles within the party are allocated based on merit.
Additionally, when asked about potential contacts with Roshi Bhadain, leader of the Reform Party, Joanna Bérenger responded that she is not in communication with him.
