Joanna Bérenger Resigns from Her Position as Junior Minister

Joanna Bérenger has resigned from her position as Junior Minister at the Ministry of the Environment on Monday, March 23. This information has been confirmed by the State House.

She went to her office in Port Louis to say her goodbyes to the staff before heading to the State House in Réduit around noon.

This resignation comes 15 months after she took her oath within the Alliance for Change.

Joanna Bérenger follows in the footsteps of her father, Paul Bérenger, who resigned from his position as Deputy Prime Minister on Friday.
