Rakesh Bhuckory, Chief of Staff at PMO, Responds to Bérenger and Criticizes a Campaign of 'Zet Labou' Against Him

Rakesh Bhuckory, the Chief of Staff at the Prime Minister's Office, has responded to former Deputy Prime Minister Paul Bérenger. Often associated with what the purple leader refers to as the 'gang of five', he distances himself from these allegations. In a statement to RadioPlus this Thursday morning, he invites Paul Bérenger to provide concrete evidence, if he has any, and to bring the matter to the relevant authorities, instead of continuing a campaign of 'zet labou'.

Rakesh Bhuckory also addressed the renewal of the contract of the Deputy CEO of the Economic Development Board, as mentioned by Paul Bérenger. He claims to have no connection with the accusations made against him.

During a press conference yesterday, Paul Bérenger stated: "A Labour minister came to see me to tell me what he needs to do... one of those people from the gang of 5 or 25 at PMO brought a businessman to offer him a bribe."

The former Deputy Prime Minister claims to have reported the matter to the Prime Minister. According to him, the person involved had "lost their position" at the Prime Minister's Office before being reinstated.
