MMM: Resignations Continue Following Paul Bérenger's Departure
A wave of resignations within the Mauritian Militant Movement (MMM) continues after Paul Bérenger's exit from the government. Atmah Critanand, a member of the party's central committee, has resigned from his position as president of the Mauritius Housing Company, just two months after his appointment. He is also leaving the board of the Mauritius Marathi Cultural Centre Trust, stating that he is now awaiting further instructions from the party regarding the next steps.
On Tuesday, March 24, Giovanni Catherine resigned from the board of the Price Observatory Committee. A member of the MMM Political Bureau, he announced his decision on his Facebook page, explaining that this choice, made "with a heavy heart," is guided by his values and principles, as a sign of solidarity with Paul Bérenger.
