MMM: Central Committee Meeting Rescheduled
The central committee meeting of the MMM, originally scheduled for this Saturday at the Beau-Bassin/Rose-Hill municipality, has been rescheduled.
It will now take place on Friday, March 27, at 5 PM, at the Hennessy Park Hotel in Ébène, according to information released this Wednesday.
This change comes amid rising tensions within the MMM.
During a press conference this morning, the party leader, Paul BĂ©renger, announced that he will not attend this central committee meeting. However, he invites party members, supporters, and Mauritians who share his vision to gather at the Plaza in Rose-Hill.
The aim of this meeting is to discuss the current choices facing the party, including whether to remain within the MMM, follow the minority trend, or call for a delegate assembly.
