On Wednesday, during a press conference following the MMM's central committee meeting, the leader of the Mauves asserted that a vast majority of party members wish for the party to remain in the government. However, he indicated his desire to leave the government due to disagreements on certain issues, but he will not resign at this stage to allow MMM members to "digest" the information shared during the central committee meeting, while awaiting the political bureau meeting scheduled for this Monday.
