In response to a press question about whether the Mouvement Militant Mauricien would stay in government with or without Paul Bérenger as leader, Reza Uteem stated that Paul Bérenger remains the leader of the MMM as long as he chooses to be. He clarified that no motion has been raised in the Central Committee to challenge this leadership. Therefore, the party's leadership is not contested.
